I have a flea market booth which I make decent money. I go to yard sales and I try not to spend over .50 for one item. I get a lot of new items that are still in the original box or packaging. Some items I buy are used, but it is in really great shape. Depending upon the item, I will mark it up to $5 or more. It really surprises me because a lot of people that shops at flea markets normally will not shop at yard sales and vice-versa. People will pay more money for an item at a flea market.
